A range of high quality feeders with a simple push fit design, opaque top and red base. The cone top on the smaller feeders discourages perching and subsequent contamination of the feed tray.
Very easy to use and clean.
The feeders have a fixed feed flow, but are suitable for most types of feed. Whilst suitable for both poultry and game birds, the 1kg & 1.Kg feeders are an ideal size for inside the brooder and for use with chick starter crumbs.
Feeder size will need to increase as the chicks grow; the 3kg and the 5kg are suitable for all types of feed including growers and layers pellets, corn or mash.
As with all our ground based feeders we advise to sit these on a raised area to prevent the feed from being contaminated by the birds during their normal daily routine. There is a raised Drinker/Feeder Stand available from BEC that is perfect for all ground based feeders and drinkers.
Combine these feeders with the BEC Drinker Range to accommodate all chickens from day old chicks increasing the feeder size as they mature.
