The Lamma 2019 Review

The year LAMMA moved ‘to the city’...

So, back at base, we all in the farming world reflect on an interesting couple of days at the NEC. Being the newbie, LAMMA ’19 marks my first official ‘show’ with Agri-Linc. Notably, it’s also the year that LAMMA moved from the wild outdoors of the Peterborough Showground, ditching waterproofs and wellingtons for the comparatively hospitable and civilised realms of the NEC.
From just about every angle, we can safely say it’s a move for the better.

Granted, the NEC food outlets may not have counted on the voracious appetite of hordes of hungry farmers, but they’ll certainly know for next time. Broadly speaking, the venue was otherwise queue-free, showcasing the advantages of a modern venue, purpose-built to cater for such a vast volume of people. The choice of venue represents farming as a likewise increasingly innovative and forward-thinking industry.

On Day 2 (on which there was, unsurprisingly, none of the ‘cancellation due to high winds’ scenario), by recommendation from our colleagues, we sampled the services of the ‘Shuttle Bus’ service from the Car Parks and were impressed.

Key machines on display at the Agri-Linc Stand were the PROFORGE® INVERTAMAXPRO™, as well as the new PROFORGE® Mounted Twin-Leg Multimole Moledrainer. All the LAMMA ’19 team here at Agri-Linc would like to thank all our visitors very much. The Hi-Striker will now spend several months recuperating, (the winners of the Prize Draw for the three PROFORGE Soft-Shell Jackets will be announced shortly) and the Machinery Sales Team will endeavour to follow up all enquiries and orders taken on the day as quickly as possible.

So, show of hands for LAMMA 2020 ????
