How to fit a Vaderstad Carrier Bearing PA300247

This video shows how to fit a bearing hub to a Vaderstad Carrier, this article assumes you have already removed the old bearing.

  1. 1. Make sure the bearing shaft is clean and free from any burrs

  2. 2. Try the bearing seal collar on the shaft, if this does not slide freely up the shaft ream out the inside diameter as required and fit ensuring it goes right home.

  3. 3. Slide the bearing on the shaft and ensure bearing turns freely, it's recommended that you apply a small amount of thread lock to the exposed thread before putting the nut on.

  4. 4. Thread the nut on checking the bearing seats and turns freely‎, ensure the nut is dead tight. We recommend a 3/4'' or 1'' ratchet to be used so as you get enough leverage to tighten sufficiently.

  5. 5. Finally check the bearing hub turns freely
